The carrier offers unaccompanied minor services to children between the ages of 5 and 15 who are traveling alone. The services must be reserved in advance, in accordance with Emirates Unaccompanied Minor rules. At Dubai International Airport, where the Emirates air terminal group will actually look at them for their flights, guardians or parents who have pre-booked the service may cancel their tickets. One of the airport administration staff members will accompany young passengers through passport control and security to the designated takeoff corridor in the air terminal concourse after registration is complete, and then from the VIP lounge to the boarding entryway.
